Grace enables business to be transacted in the spiritual realm with visible effects on earth  (coin of the realm of heaven)
1Cor 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.Cf Phil 2:12-13 desire & power; Heb 10:20 HS

Past: Justifying  Rm 3 24 being justified freely by His grace thru the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, thru faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
Titus 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life (dominion of the Age).

Present: Sanctifying  Act 13:43...persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.  20:32 "So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

Stand in it by faith Rm 5:2...have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, & rejoice in hope of the glory of God

Future: Glorifying 1Pt 1:7 result in praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, 10 salvation...prophesied of the grace that would come to you 13 gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 as obedient children...15 be holy in all your conduct  cf Eph 2:7 ages to come (+ all the greetings/endings)
Inherit it 1Pt 3:7 husband... acc to knowledge, giving honor to the wife...and as being heirs together of the grace of life   cf  Phil 1:9

II. Things You Can Do Regarding Grace

Receive it (comes from Christ's bank account) Jn 1:11-16 And of his fullness have we all received, and/even grace for grace.

Leave it unfinished and unabounded (pogo stick) 2Cor 8:6-8 that you abound in this grace also.
Fall from grace Gal 5:4 Christ is become of no effect to you...you have fallen from grace.
Ignore grace Heb 10:29 Of how much more severe punishment, despite/insult to the Spirit of grace?
Fail grace Heb 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail/fall short 4:1 fear of the grace of God...bitterness...many be defiled;
Pervert grace Jude 1:4 ...turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, Jesus Christ.
God's intent is that grace be multiplied 1Pt 1:2 ...Grace to you, and peace, be multiplied.
Grow in grace 2Pt 3:17 seeing you know...beware...fall from your own steadfastness. 18 But grow in grace & knowledge

Know God 2Pt 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you thru knowledge of God...power given to us called to glory & virtue
Perceive it by means of the truth Col 1:6 ...heard...and knew/perceived the grace of God in (ev) truth

Questions for Reflection/Discussion/Response:
1. Does God stop being just in order to be gracious? Basis for your answer? Why do some folks think/act like that is the case?
2. Do you view grace more as a stewardship of power or a “escape-consequences-get-out-of-trouble-free” licensee to sin (live irresponsibly)?
3. Is a person who believes in “free grace” more or less likely to live of life of sacrificial rewardable obedience and love?
4. How does a person indicate that they are recipients of God’s grace? How does one contribute to the “praise of His grace”?
5. How will you grow in grace this week, and use God’s grace to triumph victoriously over trials, living observably for God’s glory?
