God's Word: Its Benefits
Hebrews 4:12-13 The Word of God BC 1/99
1 Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it.
11Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.
12 For the word of God is living, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 And there is no creature hidden from his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

Deut 32:45 And Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel: 46 And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.
47 For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.
