Christianity

Is Christianity better?

What is your highest value? What stratagem do you use to sort and order your priorities? What guides your behavior?

Free will gives us freedom of choice, but not freedom of consequences.

Living according to an omniscient Manufacturer's directions will succeed better than following short-sighted desires.

Our highest happiness always lies in the direction of obedience to the perfect will of God.

Christianity provides not just a fire insurance policy and a code to live by, but the Power to live according to that code, and an infinitely just reward for doing so. God produces in believers who don't resist Him both the desire and power to do His will.

The commands of an infinitely good, all powerful God are always in our best interest. A Christian living according to God's commands will not get a sexually transmitted disease, nor a chemical addiction or dependency, nor imprisoned for insider-trading, nor be gullible prey for con men (including television evangelists).

According to the world's richest and wisest man, it is impossible to enjoy one's work and merriment apart from the God of the Scriptures. (See Ecclesiastes.)

It's hard to find a "success program" principle that isn't in the Bible, particularly in the book of Proverbs.

Christianity provides the blueprint, incentive and power for developing maintaining and reconciling meaningful friendships and relationships.

Studies have shown that those who don't engage in premarital sex have statistically significant fewer divorces and happier marriages.

Christianity alone gives eternal meaning to unjust suffering.

God changes us from what we were to what He intended, from the inside out, producing a character like Christ's in faithful followers.

When a Christian lives as God intended, he/she experiences the abundant live of love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, humility, faithfulness, and self control.

Christianity provides a peace and contentment in the midsts of any circumstances.

Christians who obey the Scriptures have a basis of a self-worth that frees them from ultimately lonely, self-centered living.

Christianity provides an eternal perspective on life, giving meaning and purpose to our existence, as well as a code of behavior which leads to our highest good.
