Jude 24 Holy and Blameless before the Throne with Joy Part 1©2020 WF Cobb Truthbase.net DailyTruthbase.blogspot 24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling 25 and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy I. God eternal plan is for us to be faultless and blameless before Him (Eph 1:4 in love) (now and in the future), so that we can be conformed to the image of Christ (Rm 8:29; who leads many sons to glory Heb 2:10), be holy like He is holy (1Pt 1:15 cx lust; 2:1 lay aside..crave..grow re salv), sharing in His divine nature and glory (2Pt 1:4 subj), so that His glory is seen as He judges and rewards with more glory displayed (2Thess 1:10), and His purposes in creation are fulfilled (Eph 1:4 holy-14 glory 3:10 wisdom manifested to powers above) Lk 1:74 to grant us that we, being delivered...might serve Him w/o fear, in holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life. Heb 9:14 shall the blood of Christ...offered himself w/o spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Eph 4:22 put off, 23 be renewed in minds 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness Col 1:27 riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. 28 Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. 29 To this end I also labor, striving acc to His working which works in me mightily. (cf Heb 13:21 working in you) 1Jn 3:2 we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is 3 everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. Heb 13:21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in His sight, thru Jesus Christ... 1Thess 3:10 perfect what is lacking in your faith 11...increase and abound in love to one another and to all 13 so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints 4:1 how you ought to walk and to please God; 2 know what commandments we gave you thru the Lord Jesus. will of God, your sanctification, abstain Eph 1:4 Acc as he has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5:26 sanctify/holy and cleanse by the washing of the water of the Word 27 That he might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 1Tim 1:3 charge that.. teach no other doctrine, 4...cause disputes rather than godly edification which is by faith. 5 purpose of commands is love from a pure heart, (1Pt 1 purify by obey thru HS) from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, 6 from which some, having strayed... 7 desiring to be teachers...neither understanding what they say nor the things which they affirm. 8 the law is good if one uses it lawfully...10 contrary to sound doctrine, 11 acc to the gospel of the glory of the blessed God which was committed to my trust. II. God is able to keep us from stumbling by establishing and strengthening and guiding us as we trust/yield/obey Him Per Jude: best way to keep from stumbling is daily dying to our will to live for God's will under the Lordship of Christ and power of HS 2Th 3:3 the Lord is faithful, who shall establish 4741 you, and keep 5442 you from evil. Keep from stumbling by watching our steps Rm 16:25 To Him who is able/has power-dunamai to establish/strengthen/stabilize 4741 you acc to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Messiah, acc to the revelation of the mystery 26 and by the prophetic Scriptures made known to all nations, acc to the commandment of the everlasting God, eis obedience to the faith ---27 to God, alone wise, be glory thru Jesus Christ forever. Amen. 1Cor 10:13 no temptation overtaken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able <1410>; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able <1410> to bear it. Mt 9:28 blind men came to him: Jesus said to them, Do you believe that I am able <1410> to do this? They said to Him- Yes Lord Eph 3:20 To Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, acc to the power that works in us cf Phil 2:13 Acts 20:32 commend you to God..word of his grace, is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified The Word is able to keep us from loss holiness/reward by showing us the way to walk, what happens if we stray or stay on path of obedience. 2Tim 3:15...you have known the holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise re salvation thru faith which is in Christ Jesus. Js 1:21 lay aside all moral filth and abundant naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls Rm 6:22 now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end - life of The Age 2Tim 4:18 Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, will preserve me eis His heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever 1Th 3:12 Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all 13 to the end/eis He may establish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God our Father at the coming of our Lord JC with saints 2Th 1:10 come to be glorified in His saints admire 2Th 1:3 your faith grows exceedingly, and love of every one of you all toward each other abounds 5 worthy of the kingdom...suffer Phil 3:21 change our vile body, may be made like His glorious body, acc to the working whereby He is able to subdue all things unto himself Jn 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. III. Both God and we have responsibility in keeping us from wandering (v21 keep self in love of God; cf Js 5; last week-snatch others) Jude 1 the called: sanctified by God and preserved/kept/guarded in/by union with Christ Jesus cf 1Pt 1:5by faith 2Pt 1:5-11 add to ur faith Ps 17:4 by the word of Your lips, I have kept away from the paths of the destroyer. 5 Uphold my steps in Your paths, that my footstep may not slip. |
