God mocks the mockers and will devastatingly destroy those who displease Him, yet will establish His chosen 4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision 1:1. The wise humbly submit and serve in fear, joy, and trust, and are blessed as a result (instead of perishing) 10 Now therefore, be wise hiph, O kings; be chastened/instructed, you judges of the earth. 11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
