(c) 2018 WF Cobb Truthbase.net  DailyTruthbase.blogspot

Gospel: of The Kingdom Mt 4:23;9:35;24:14; Mk 1:14; of the grace/God Ac 20:24; Rm 1:1; 15:16 accept; Gal 1:6; 2Th 1:8 obey; of The Messiah Mk 1:1; Rm 1:9,16; 2Cor 9:19; of peace Rm 10:15; Eph 6:15; of salvation Eph 1:13 1x; of glory 2Cor 4:4; 2Th 2:14 obtain; 1Tim 1:11; of the Age Rev 14:6 fear

I. Good News of The Kingdom promised in the OT opens each gospel, and how to be blessed in it was the main message of Jesus & Apostles

OT Isa (40:9-10) 52:7 How beautiful...are the feet bring good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, "Your God reigns!" 8 When the LORD brings back Zion. 9 He has redeemed Jerusalem. 10 YHWH has made bare His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God. 12 lead

Isa 61:1 Spirit of the Lord YHWH is upon me; because YHWH has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the eyes/prison to them that are bound; (42:7; Lk 4:18)

II. Paul preached faith in The Messiah and obedience to Him Rm 1:5 Thru Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name, 6 among whom you also are the invited of Jesus Christ; 7 To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus The Messiah/Christ.

A. Paul's commission Acts 26:15 I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting 16 I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you.17 I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you,18 to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.' 20 declared...that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance.

20:20 I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house, 21 testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus The Messiah 24 But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace/favor of God. 26 I am innocent of the blood of all men. 27 For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God. 32 "So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

B. Paul preached the “gospel” to believers Rm 1:8 I thank my God thru Jesus Messiah for you all, that your faith is spoken of thru the whole world. 11 I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual chrisma, so that you may be established (16:25) 12 that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me. 13...that I might have some fruit among you also 15 So, as much as is in me, I am ready to preach the gospel to you who are in Rome also.  16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of THE Messiah, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, Jew first and also Greek 17 For in it the righteousness of God is being unveiled ek faith eis faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith" 18 For the wrath of God is revealed...

Rm 16:25 Now to Him who is able to establish you acc to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Messiah, acc to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began 26 made manifest for obedience to the faith

C. Believers are judged by Gospel Rm 2:5 in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation/manifestation of the righteous judgment of God, 6 who "will render to each one according to his deeds": 7 eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; 8 but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness --- indignation and wrath, 9 tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; 10 but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 11 For there is no partiality with God. 13 (not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; 16 in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, acc to my gospel.

D. God blesses the faith-ful Gal 3:1 O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? 2 Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh?4 Have you suffered so many things in vain 5 He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? ---6 just as Abraham "believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness."7 Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham.8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, "In you all the nations shall be blessed."9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham. 11...for "the just shall live by faith."

III. The Full Gospel 1Cor 15:1 brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain (to no profit). 3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins acc to the Scriptures,4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day acc to the Scriptures 5 and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve...

I die daily.32 If, I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantage is it to me? If the dead do not rise, "Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!" 33 Do not be deceived: "Evil company corrupts good habits" 34 Awake to righteousness, and stop sinning; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame. 40 differing glory 57 thanks be to God, who gives us the victory thru our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
